Greetings to everyone reading this. I’m here to finalize my experiment plan regarding one year 100% without AI. I’ve reinstalled my laptop today back to a clean state to start over without AI tools like Gemini CLI, Antigravity, etc. Furthermore, I’ve also disabled all AI related features within VS Code that now I’ll be using instead.
Other than the coding space, I also has been preparing to live 100% without AI by switching to Firefox on my phone, now both my laptop and Android use Firefox as browser. Why Firefox? Because in my opinion, Firefox is the best browser that allows installing extension both on desktop and mobile version. Currently I had several extensions dedicated for blocking Google Search AI Overviews and other AI stuff across all Google products. I’ve also uninstalled and canceled all AI apps and subscriptions I have. Gemini, ChatGPT, NotebookLM, etc, everything’s gone now.
This grand experiment of mine will officially start tomorrow, June 15, 2026.
